Athens Olympic Stadium's suspended arched roof
construction, designed by the famous Spanish
architect Santiago Calatrava, is easily the most
visually striking part of the engineering works
involved in totally refurbishing the original
stadium so that 95 per cent of the seats will be
covered (versus 35 per cent previously).
